RedEye

With the RedEye system you can use your iPhone or iPod touch to control your TV, stereo,
cable box, DVD player, and many other devices that receive standard (infrared) signals.
In other words, no more hunting through the sofa cushions for all those different remotes
all the control you need is right in your pocket.

Our Review:
Well for all you iPhone fanatics this is a must have, assuming you have a 'Home Media System'.
A 'Home Media System' would be a TV or any combination of Home Theater, Surround Sound or Music System.    MSRP : $188.00     Amazon.com $188.00
"Remember, we always advise to buy from authorized dealers! This protects you and your products with manufacture support."
Pros:

  1. Rather than force you to deal with each device in your home theater, RedEye is an activity-based remote.
  2. RedEye is completely customizable.
  3. Each activity can have its own button layout
  4. RedEye app (free from the iTunes App Store)

Cons:

  1. Because the iPhone is not an IR transmitter, it cannot work directly as a remote for devices that use IR technology for remote control. Thus, you must use it on the supplied dock. "The hardware portion of the RedEye solution is a small box, slightly larger than Apple's docking station that also doubles as a charging station."
  2.  If you’re not supper techie, like your kids are, then installation and set up is not so easy.
